Hello,

I think I see my cataract that is developing in my FOVed eye 2,5 years ago. I am using flashlight /pocket light/

I use bateries that are going out of energy, so light is dimmed, that I can hold the light directly on my eye. And in that light I see something as this (it looks as static unmobile floater in the center)...

Amusement Parks

Has anyone here ever gone to an amusement park with a mild to moderate floater condition and not notice an increase in floaters after going on rides such as roller coasters? I'm just curious as it is something I was planning on doing next year, but I don't want to be at risk of increasing the severity of my floaters.

PS.: From what I have been told, I don't have PVD, but I did somehow manage to get a sudden appearance of floaters about a month ago in both eyes.

Hello everyone.

At 10:45 am in about an hour, I'm heading to see a doctor whos going to inspect my eye and vitreous to see if its healing properly. I'm hoping for some good news regarding my numerous blood floaters. Hopefully they will clear completely and hopefully the doctor can answer this question. I'll get back to you when I arrive back home and fill you all in.

Maybe it wasn't going to be an answer, but it appears Vitreosolve has hit a snag at the very least. Another key wording is "interim analysis conducted" whatever that really means. I guess time will tell.

I don't have not seen much point in trying to work out what caused my floaters - but now I'm moving closer to fov (undecided yet as to by whom and where) I'm wondering what type of problem i have in my vitreous...and how this might affect fov.

I've had myopia since 13 which did not stablise till I was about 30 by which time i was around -8 in one year and -10 in the other. I think part of the reason myopia progressed was due to too much close work, loads of pc work,...

I have a few floaters in each eye. Recently I noticed a strange side effect. Does anyone else see this?

If I see something like a car go by against a bright sky, then I look up over the object I see a rush of gray spots moving in the opposite direction. It only occurs under a certain set of conditions of distance, and brightness, not always. As soon as I try to focus on those spots they vanish.

Yesterday i went to a consultation with a National Health Service Hospital Eye Doctor here in Portugal.

What she said :

-Floaters dissolve with time, it may took weeks, months or years but she assured me that they will be gone.

-The laser treatment wasn't for young people.

-Vitrectomy is a solution but with many risks and floaters don't worth it.

-To take Vitreoclar ( a supplement as Vitreoxigen but in pills ) for 6 months, she said...
