Hello everybody,
Just spoke on the phone with the German Dr. Burkhard Dick. He is the world's leading cataract expert on the Synchrony IOL. He said that this lens is
by far the best, and is simply not comparable to ReStor, ReZoom or other multifocal lenses. Almost all of his cataract patients have perfect distance and near
vision and can read without reading glasses. This is so exciting, because so few Doctors offer this brand-new IOL. He said that the IOL itself costs 600-700...

Hello All:

I am glad to find this forum as I recently got back from a trip to see Dr. Karickoff. I have a very large floater in my right eye due to a retinal tear that
happened over a year and a half ago. Dr. Karickoff said that he could not treat my floater because it sits at the bottom of my eye. The problem is that each
time I move my eye it darts up right to center mass and blurs out anything in its path, then once again floats through my center of vision on the way back to

threads in this forum, but I didn't see anything that clearly lays it out. I have seen individual posts indicating that the cost could be anywhere from
$8200 to $12000.

Also, if the FOV veterans could share whether insurance covered it, I would really appreciate it.

prescribe pain medication to their fov patients and if so, is it just ibuprofin/aspirin or stronger stuff like vicodin? I know each doctor is different, but in

Most are off to the sides but there is one that is constantly in my central field of vision. It's like a small cobweb and if I move my eye up or down it

Well I wish I could say my third FOV went as smooth as my last two but so far it has not. Apparently as the infusion was being taken out it opened up some

now.
