I have been an avid reader of this board, and thought I should share my experience with Dr. Johnson.

First, here's a little about me and my previous treatments. I am a relatively young patient (currently 39) who has had floaters since I was 31. My right
eye was initially my worst eye. In this eye, I had 2 unsuccessful treatments with Dr. Geller back in 2002 and 2003. The first treatment hit my most bothersome
floater but another mass re-formed immediately. When I went back...

I have vitreous liquefaction/degeneration and floaters, and one dr said I had slight vitreous detachment. There's been some discussion on this board about
running/jogging and weight lifting. I must admit that despite the general idea that there is no reason why I can't exercise, I have been scared to do so
for fear of increasing my floaters, getting vitreous detachment, or worse, retinal tears. Still, I cant imagine not being able to go to the gym or run for my

rapidly progressioning. I see new floaters appearing at least once a month or two. The spots are so huge, so everytime when they're coming close to the
front of my retina I have to shake my head for they'd fly away, because they block all of the region of my vision. At least it seems so.

think. The lens implant shown here acts like a small pupil limiting the amount of laser energy and the areas that can be treated. The LASIK procedure can have
a similar effect by creating two different optical zones (the central treated cornea and the peripheral "virgin" cornea) with similar difficulties.

First of all let me say that Mr Moriarty is very polite, caring and clearly very capable. He conducted a dilated exam of both my eyes and was generally

found the office to be run by a very friendly and personable staff. It is a busy practice, but I got the impression that the doctors spend a lot of time with
