Hey folks,

I've been searching around for a floater treatment a long time now. As you probably already know, there are no easy answers. My search took me to laser vitreolysis and vitrectomy, and while they're clearly both effectivene for a lot of people, they're simply too expensive for me right now. I might be able to afford them in 2 or 3 years, if I'm lucky, but right now they're not an option.

So I'm looking at alternative treatments. I stumbled...

I started to drink Vitreoxigen around 20.06.2009.

I pill after breakfast.

From 08.08.2009. I drink one before breakfast.

Will switch to 2 per day cause I got more boxes of Vitreoxigen. After I finish my 3 boxes (60 pills).

No major breakthrough. Floaters only seem more transparent.

I've been digging around the Curezone website and found an interesting thread about using the Chinese herb "eyebright" to treat floaters. A woman claims she got rid of floaters through a disciplined, tedious process of making a tea beverage, and then applying that to her eye with a dropper. Even if placebo-effect is a REALLY good thing, in terms of eyes it can be a real disappointment. I´ve had that happen to me, getting my hopes up just to get simply crushed maybe a few hours later or the day after. Even so, I always tend to enjoy those small "less-floater-bothersome" moments as the best moments in my life, it always happens in different places. At a friends place where the lightning is dim but not dark and I´ll see few floaters, or maybe the first minutes inside...

In regard to Vantage´s post in the thread below about how drinking a lot of milk made his floaters less bothersome.

I just want to add that I too stopped drinking milk actually shortly around the onset of my first floater. I actually drink very little milk, maybe once a week max? And that´s not even a glass.
