Did anybody go further into the direction of trying any treatments against fungus?
The discussion about fungus being a possible cause was quite active about 2 years ago.
I also tried a drug that against fungi but I found out this drug was not able to kill fungi only to prevent them from growing. Anyway it did not affect my floaters.
What is keeping me interested is that in a German forum a guy stated his floater was a fungus and he treated it with a strong drug he got from his physician.
I even had a phone call with this guy who then told me the whole story.
Anyway what I think would be interesting is when all these people who have FOV could get there vitreous analyzed after FOV to check for fungi.
Normally they maybe don`t care anymore after FOV what the reason was. But if it is only one eye that has surgery why not check if funguses caused the floaters and then you have maybe more information about the un-operated eye as well.
