One of the things I keep asking myself is: how do people live with these crap in their eyes like they were not there. Clearly a lot do because my two brothers and mother have them and they don't seem to care much.
I doubt they really do. They've just undergone neuroadaptation. Their quality of vision sucks therefore their general life quality sucks as well (at least to some extent) but they JUST DO NOT REALIZE IT ANYMORE. Watch the video in some other thread about Degenerative Vitreous Syndrome. One of the testimonies says about not realizing how bad this condition was until AFTER FOV.
