I really like this material. I think it proves the point that best visual acuity is not a measure of vision quality when it comes to floaters. It's the same as with glaucoma, people loose VA in the very last stage of the disease. What they loose in the beginning is FIELD of vision. The same goes with floaters. We don't loose VA but we loose CONTRAST and we suffer from HALO-like effects AND sometimes we also loose FIELD of vision when we have big opaque floaters. Measuring VA and saying that everything is fine is a ++%#*!! mistake and those guys who do so should loose their licenses as doctors. It's a "mistake in the art (of ophthalmology)" as we say in Poland. I believe the equivalent term in English is simply medical error. It's an action for which doctors are being punished in Poland. But of course only in more serious cases like cutting out the wrong kidney - a healthy one instead of cancerous one for example. These cases are rare. But I think the law should be more strict and losers who deny to acknowledge floaters as a debilitating disease should be punished in my opinion.
