How bad your floaters are is a personel thing. If you weren't too bothered you wouldn't be on here. If they effect your day to day life then perhaps it does? You don't have to justify it by the amount of floaters compared to others just wether you can live with it or if not do something about it. I am from the U.K and travelled to L.A to visit a reputable surgeon who was prepared to do the operation but advised me to think about it for a couple of years. At the time it wasn't as positive an outcome as had hoped but now looking back it was sound advice. The fact someone could do it if I really wanted gave me hope as before various eye doctors just dismissed it as trivial. Six years later I had the operation but in Belgium. It was something I knew I was going to do but making that decision to finally go through with it was tough. For me enough was enough, too much time in my life dwelling on it. I'm sure you understand that. My advice is go straight to the top surgeons and when your ready in yourself you will know.
