One more question of curiosity if I may-- of course I simply need to do more research, as I have only a rudimentary understanding of FOV procedure. However, I was discussing this today one the phone with my mother and she said, "If you think it likely that you will get more floaters in the future if you do nothing, what are the chances of spending this time and money on surgery and then just getting more floaters post-op? Does the procedure somehow make this less likely?" I think I have read that much of the vitreous tissue that can become floaters is removed? Is this correct or maybe I'm way off base. image

Anyone care to help our curiosity?
