I have no idea if piggybacking or piggyfronting or any other animal-related gerund of your IOLs is possible. But I will say this: don't f*ck with you eye any more than you absolutely have to. Sorry for the language but I wanted the emphatic nature of that statement to stand out. You found a competent FOV-friendly doctor and you got through a combined vitrectomy/cataract operation without a problem, glasses/contacts can correct the rest, just be thankful and be happy. Any time you do any surgical procedure on the eye you're taking a lot of risk. Try looking up cyclodialysis cleft which is a possible complication of cataract surgery or anything that goes near the ciliary body like messing with your IOL and you'll see why you shouldn't touch it. You're lucky, enjoy it.
