I cannot wear contacts though. For some reason I get really bad double vision with them, no matter what brand. I was hoping to maybe correct me 100% so all I need is reading glasses. Also I want to at least get rid of a bunch of astigmatism so that I can qualify for ortho k contacts which are worn at night and taken off during the day. I need to be 1.75 astigmatism or less to qualify for those though. I really trust my surgeon. I remember a couple days/weeks after surgery when he found out it didn't correct me all the way he said something about the machine making errors, and it was almost as if he would be willing to correct me all the way if I wanted. Maybe I am too much of a perfectionist but I will only live once. If it can be made perfect I will go for it. I am trying to get an appointment to talk about it with him. Maybe what I will do is get my other eye done first so I can be floater free (except for the dam inflammation cells) and then I can get some sweet rimless glasses, and then in the future he can correct my right eye.

BTW what is this AK? Does it correct astigmatism? also does astigmatism make eyeglasses thicker?
