They sure do describe them correctly: "...tiny clumps of fibers or cells inside the vitreous, the clear gel-like fluid that fills the inside of your eye. They can appear as little dots, circles, lines, clouds or cobwebs. You may see small specks or clouds moving in your field of vision."

In the next breath they say that they will "fade away", "just wait" and similar. I´m sorry your floaters got worse, Ophelia. I´ve also read your comment about dark living. This forum should be known to every ophthalmologist around the world. They should read words like yours and never again dismiss floaters like something "harmless". It´s not harmless, for peace sake... And it´s far from not dangerous. It´s causing tremendous suffering all around the world, and it can´t be much more evident then right here, on this here forum.
