I almost never go to Ophthalmologist, but last time I did (a bit after floaters appeared, but it was not only for floaters), she, the ophthalmologist, was quite fast to say nothing can be done (not to my surprise as I did research before go and I was prepared to receive that answer). She also mentioned something like if I was looking up at literature, that laser doesn't work (not exact words but something going in that sense). I mentioned her lightly (as I have not done extensive research) that I found two doctors that was doing laser and I remembered one was in Florida, etc. --- so she added that if I wanted to pay myself a trip to Florida I could go (she probably thought I was someone looking for stuff on internet and blah blah because I had bring with myself a printed sheet that resume my problems... something I always do, to think before go to an appointment and to not forget anything). Well maybe her answer was ironic or she was like acting like "me I know, but if you want to waste your time". Sometime I am under the impression that a lot of doctors are on the defensive and get mad when you "question" them (it is normal for people to want to understand or question people when they act like there is no problem and you know otherwise!). Actually that is maybe like that with a lot of people, not only doctors. But the facts is that a lot of people do errors, especially when you reduce the time frame to think and analyze the problems. Or I could say it another way... a lot of people don't find the real root cause of a problems (not necessary an error, but just they don't find solutions that easily).

But MommaJ, even if that will take a lot of guts, why not just take all their information, bring it to your doctor and ask them if those people are fake doctors. As far as I know, for example Karickhoff is on on some doctors board, he develop products used by the medical community, etc. --- they must have at least a little credibility. Just ask them, you found this, and I think Geller could even call your Ophthalmologist... Maybe if someone with knowledge and able to show he knows what he talks about, could convince other doctors that it is not only bullshit.

But then, laser doesn't seems to be able to have a 100% success rate, but it is not like it has not work for nobody, unless there is a lot of people that lied to us!
