floatanddry, it's good they know enzyme vitrectomies, but the ussual it's that they only have heard about it, but not read any article or only know about Vitrase (as the first and the less useful of the solutions).

The enzymatic vitrectomy researchs are just now in Phase 2 and 3, with clinnical essays. Perhaps it should need other 5 years to be as regular as a LASIK treatment, I don't know... but NOW it's safer than mechanical vitrectomies. That's sure.

Next time you could print the articles of this post and try to give him... ;-)
