I think it's still better enzymatic, because it is only needed to make one hole and will make the rest of the vitreous detach without the need to "cut" inside the eye. But of course if you have a PVD, whatever vitrectomy will be safer than without PVD. At least I think so.

loulou, sorry, I did not see your last comment... well, that's what i answer before. If all works so fine as they claims, enzymatic vitrectomies should be ready before 5 years. But whatever speed in development will be welcomed ;-)

I don't know how many time pass since Phase 3 and clinical essays to be 100% operative. Where are you from loulou? I saw some microplasmin trials available in Europe
