Personally, I think if the floaters are to disappears or fade away to a point where they are really less annoying, it won't be instant. When reading that boards and by talking to people in real life... some people say their floaters are getting WORSE. On the other hand, there is people that say the situation has improved (like you weba -- and me too, it now makes around 10 months that I notice them daily). Somehow I believe this can be random... maybe it depends how your floaters move inside your eyes... some people talk about them sinking over time, etc. -- I don't know if we can generalize and say "time will fix", I would rather say "time might fix". But it doesn't get better for everyone. My floaters were really terrific in the first two months, it was winter and there was a lot of shiny snow around me (not helping with floaters!!!) and I wonder if next winter it will be the same, but I will sure be able to compare. However, I told myself that I am gonna try to be patient and see. So far there is improvement (maybe random, but still), but they are still annoying. Some people do get FOV after only some months... personally I would wait more for this... but maybe my problems is not the same (but in the first 2 months, my floaters were really MAJOR --- having these for a year won't help keep someone sane! And I am someone very patient, not dramatizing stuff at first glance, etc.).

Has Johan mentioned since how long he has had his floaters?

I have not tried anything specific personally, but I try to move, eat more of some stuff (like blueberry, eh), but I don't really stick to anything specific for now. I actually endure my floaters... and I try to analyze what others do, think, etc. --- there is surely a way to improve... maybe the solution for some of us will be time simply. As long as it is not a 40 years wait!
