I read with great interest this thread on whether Laser Vitreolysis even exist. I sure hope so because I've been doing it for about a year with overall excellent results. You are right though about most doctors not even knowing that it exists or believe it is ineffective. The one published study used very low cumulative laser energy levels and only got about a 30% self-assessed clearing of the material. I find that there is about 20-30% of people I can't or won't treat for safety issues, but of those that I can treat I am getting about 70-90+ percent improvement. These patients are delighted! No lost of visual acuity even after multiple aggressive treatments!
