Hello there

Not really, I was mainly exercising by running + push-ups before the floaters. Then I´ve read somewhere that the possible cause of floaters might be nerve damage from working in front of the computer a lot and I indeed did experience this problem too, it started couple of months before the appearance of first floaters. Here http://www.ctds.info/eye-floaters.html it says that the "muscular tension in the neck and shoulder area" resulting in the "connective tissue disorder" is closely correlated with development of floaters. More concretely I had both carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar nerve damage combined with pain on the right side of my upper back and in the right arm. I am right-handed and naturally use that side of the body most when working in front of the computer. My right eye is by far most affected by floaters. Professionally I am a photographer. Both my arms, from the shoulder and downwards used to just "disappear" during the nights. I wake up several times per night and shake them until they start reacting again. I also noticed the same starting to happen during the day, although milder. Also in the legs, mainly my feet, starting with the outer fingers on both feet. Than I downloaded the book mentioned here: http://www.ctds.info/eye-floaters.html, this one: http://www.amazon.com/exe...72243759/inheritedconn-20 . I did indeed discover a huge trigger point under my right shoulder blade and started to work on it as outlined in the book. I noticed improvement right away. But floaters remained the same. At the same time I´ve got the advice to start swimming, as it is really effective, because it is kind of a whole body massage (sea water) and best form of exercise all packaged in one. It helped tremendously. Since I have been doing it regularly my arms do not go numb on me any more. Except for the ulnar nerve, that is. It is as bad as ever. Every night it´s the same. It stretches beneath the elbow all the way to the pinkie and the ring finger. That part did not improve at all. Everything else did. The floaters remain the same during all of that too. Also, I am not using a only the office chair anymore when sitting in front of computer. I use this, warmly recommended by lots of people with backbone problems, the pilates ball:

I combine it with the chair. About 60 % of the time sittiong on the ball, 40 % chair. I am going for 100% ball in the future. Can´t do 100 % ball right now, get tired otherwise, it is quite demanding, but much better for the right posture and your back, neck, arms...

Thanks, you too!

I have the "annoying floaters" since about 4 months or so. I did not notice any floaters before that time.

Regards,

Johan
