@ Mickozee: the floaters were a major trigger, especially since I am not the only one noticing there might be a close correlation between the beginning of numbness in my arms/ hands, pain in the shoulders / back (connective tissue disorder) due to extensive computer work and the appearence of floaters. http://www.ctds.info/eye-floaters.html

@ Mikey: Please don“t give up on the alternative that quick. Many mainstream medications were alternative before they became widely used by patients all around the world and fully embraced by the worldwide medical community. What we need, I think, is a dedicated group of specialised, devoted doctors (or at least 1 good doc) that would actually do rigorously executed scientific tests of any possible alternative "cure" or cure that is said to be working. Someone with authority and moral integrity that we could trust to be doing their job properly. The results of these tests should be detailed, explained in both laymen and expert terms and put online for everyone to take part of first hand.
