Vantage, thanks for your answer.

I was not really trying to find out if the milk theory was an hoax or not. I mostly wanted to know about your floater experience, the time you have them. Another question is... between these 2 years, have you noticed improvement as time go?

I often ask questions without a 100% clear goal in mind (but I have an abstract idea why I do ask these questions and they help me to analyze a problem from all their angle).

Actually in your case, I do not doubt you got an improvement, I mostly try to find out if that improvement was caused by milk or if that is a coincidence.

Personally, it is around 2 years too and I have experienced some "improvement" as time go... I suspect the floaters are moving inside my eyes, thus modifying their effect.

I will keep the milk idea in mind. I won't necessary start to drink that much milk yet, but I will think about it and might increase intake just to see. The reason I got interested is some years ago, I lowered my milk intake for a temporary time (I don't remember how much time), but after that I started back to take milk as normal (I usually drink one glass of milk each morning since young). I was influenced from talk that you do not need it much as you grow older, etc. -- but then we hear so much thing.

As for berries in general, they are often associated as being good for vision it seems. As far as I know, they are more know to prevent (and maybe reverse?) macular degeneration... but because of their claim for eyes some people try to take them for floaters too. I personally like to eat a lot berries and I do look forward to sooner or later try a supplement of them. I guess they cannot hurt much or at least I have not heard much about precaution to take with berries (even thought like everything, too much might be just that, too much!).

Good luck with your experience, I will read you with excitement when you got some news. Maybe start a thread for each topics... or if you want to relate to your personal experience, maybe start a diary thread just for you like Johan once did.

So much ideas pop up in my mind, but it is not always easy to write them a simple way, and sometime they are just ideas from what I heard from multiple source. ;-)

Why some people see their floaters only rarely? I was one of them when very young and they were very small floaters. Chance are it is because the floaters were small and located in a place where they were rarely hit by light. Why the floaters doesn't change internally but with some products (milk, vitamin, etc.) some people claims an improvement? Maybe these products improve something in our eye that help us focus more on thing. Etc.
