I couldn't be more serious. I've actually been speaking with the staff over at Jules Stein for the last 18 months. They had started a floaters research project about 2 years ago, and then lost the private funding. They are still very interested, but would need it funded for 5 years before they could apply for a grant with their preliminary research findings. It really is too bad how the world works, because probably about 1 in 20 adults would like their floaters removed. Even if each person with floaters gave $1 we could have the research going, but too bad it just doesn't work that way.
