Don't do what they want to excuse lack of competence dealing with this issue. Yes you're not mad and yes floaters can depress someone and no antidepressants don't work with this also and you shouldn't go to GP office as a General Pratice doctor isn't specialized in eye issues most of the things they know to do is when they can't solve a physical problem they sent to psychiatrist which don't solve anything but throw at us a lot of useless pills... So you have 2 solutions: Don't go to any doctor or then go to a ophtalmologist which treat floaters and then evaluate your situation.... Don't cover the sun with a disguise shadow like psych pills and no most of the people don't have floaters... Some do and some don't...
