I'm with you on this keef. I am only 27 and I have a really bad, dark, ring floater that I can see in almost all lighting, which really sucks..  But I don't want to risk permanent damage to my eyes as in that I still hopefully have many, many more years to live on this earth and don't want to really start getting eye complications since my eyes are "Perfectly healthy" as they say...

It has only been 3 months since this particular floater has moved in my eye, for the worse, and I really haven't given it enough time to possibly move to a different location yet. It changes shape/size little by little each week and seems to be moving closer to my retina since it seems to appear larger week by week. I am hoping that it will move out of my line of sight, like they say it might do, or that is will appear less dense so that I don't notice it all the time. I guess time will only tell. I really don't want to live the next 60 years of my life in misery because of these darn buggers. :)
