PVD induced FOV can completely remove all of your posterior floaters. Except anterior floaters because the vitreous from behind the lens is not removed. But this is not a problem for majority of patients (MD was an exception among us on these forums)

Rfsapiens did not have PVD induced FOV. Hence that is why he still sees residual floaters.

Disadvantages of core FOV:

1- floaters will come back due to later PVD
2- still high chance of retinal tears/detachment once PVD occurs later in life.

If you are going to get FOV done, its better to go PVD route. At least in this case PVD is controlled and under supervised settings.

We saw it all pass by and you went by,
and I cant control anything.
When you said life cant be what you want ...
and I really want everything.
