Hi Stringeye

Be positive. I didn't want to alarm, rather just point out that some peoples post op experiences are not 100%. Looking back through past postings many have reported inflammation, blood, blobs and debris. THe good news is that in the vast majority of these cases, things have drammatically improved in a matter of days, weeks or months. I guess the point is that everybodies eyes react differently to surgery. I don't think that post op debris is necessarily a result of surgical input, I think it also has a bit to do with nature. This would be supported by people that have had both eyes done, with one crystal clear after surgery, the other with lots of post op debris. I just think that surgeons should prepare us more for after surgery. My own theory changes a lot, but I do wonder if a more aggressive approach might lead to a few more inflammation cells in the short term, but less chance of future floaters detaching. In summary, Be positive, as Hopefully in a few weeks I can report be delighted with my results. I'm sure Rancol will be the same. I will be wishing you the best of luck, as you are a really good contributor, and though I've never met you, know that outside of cyber world that I would really like you.

regards

Dave
