Thanks rf, but right now I feel like I've made a terrible mistake. I wish I had gone to Phoenix and had surgery with Dr. Sipperley. If things don't clear in six months, that's where I'm headed. I should have gone to someone with a proven track record with FOV. I didn't care for his arrogance, but really personality shouldn't have been a factor in my decision. At least I know what to expect with the surgery now, so I'm not as fearful. Plus, I think it would be easier to recover from his technique - 25 gauge with no air bubble. Plus he would use kenalog to make sure he got everything. Kenalog is also a steroid which would keep the inflammation down if that is really what this stuff is. But I really think I bled into my eye. I know my surgeon said I didn't but I don't know what else the big dark clump of crap in my eye could be or these dark dots. This is a very bad outcome. Shimmer and Dynamix2100, I hope you are reading this and can consider a trip to Phoenix. Take care, Stringy eye
