Thanks Fishmoon - yes PVD was induced. On the day one post op appt the surgeon said heme quad two to his tech and then I asked him what that meant. He said if you look down toward the bubble you may see it (the blood), which to me meant blood had leaked into my eye from one of the top incisions and since everything in the eye is inverted, it would appear that it was at the bottom of the eye. I do have a lot of free floating specs, but I also have a pretty big clump of round opaque stuff that comes into view pretty often and another string of dots almost like black pearls. Most of it wants to sink to the bottom of the eye because it looks to me like it's floating on the top. I guess that would mean it is heavier than the aqueous. I can only hope that whatever it is will be absorbed soon. I certainly would like to avoid another surgery.
