I don't think my debris is a result of improper surgical technique or hygiene. But I don't think I went overboard in my efforts to prevent infection. I did what the hospital and the surgeon told me to do, with the exception of the MRSA test. Surgical site infections, while rare, do exist, and I just wanted to give myself some extra peace of mind going into the surgery. It helped me stay calm while taking the plunge, so to speak. Please remember that Fishmoon is better educated in medicine than most of us and it's this knowledge that is making him more risk adverse than most of us. Plus he may be dealing with a degenerative eye condition that makes him even more cautious about the surgery. Please keep this in mind and monitor your tone accordingly. Thanks, Stringyeye
