You know... I thought the same thing about 10 months ago. My floaters look pretty darn close to pictures of parasites and what not, that have been posted on this forum before. My floaters really do look like some sort of parasite.... You know how I know that they are not?? Because it's 10 months later and they look EXACTLY the same as they did 10 months ago. They are the same shape/size and their movements are exactly the same. They move to the same spots when I move my eyes.

If they were, in fact parasites/worms, I should have seen Some sort of change. There was none. We are probably just seeing individual protein and collagen cells clumped together and since they are close to our retinas, they are amplifying the reflection out in to the world like a projector would.  It almost looks like we are looking out into a microscope when we look out into the sky.  It's cool..  for like a half of second..  to see something that awesome and in detail, the size of a building in the sky, but not for long.  I just wish there was a switch to turn them off.

So, I am not trying to shoot that theory down or anything, but I was pretty worried about this a year ago. I thought I had some strange sort of creature living in my eye. I did a lot of research on it and I really don't think it's the case. So, I wouldn't worry about it if you don't have any crazy eye pain or something, with the floaters.
