Hello Jojo I'm 21 years of age and from Greece, I've been suffering from eye floaters for 1 year now. My floaters didn't change at all, I still see tons of them every single moment of the day. The key to over coming your depression is to ignore them as much as possible(I know this is tough especially in the beginning but after a while it becomes a routine procedure). Then I've said it here the most important thing is, research about treatments, but also don't give up on anything in your life. I stopped playing basketball and I decided to start again 2 months ago, I thought it would be hard for me but it wasn't at all. You just have to keep going you know. Also since I'm a student this was the most difficult part for me, however my grades are still high even with floaters. You just have to keep going with your life.. I know this is difficult but you have no other option. I believe FOV is too early to consider right now. Personally I will probably start thinking of this procedure in 2-3 years from now..and that's only if the floaters become worse. So yeah don't panic, we're in the same boat here and we're all suffering as well. You are saying you have a child. That's very good!! One more reason why you should be very strong! You will over come this problem with positive thinking, that's all you need trust me. Don't think about the future and how your life will be ruined no it won't. This is negative thinking that is most likely a result of the depression you're going through, nothing will be ruined, everything will be alright, cheers!
