Hi Kasieta, thank you for checking in on me. I did go to the eye Dr. yesterday. They did dilate my eyes for the exam and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but does make me appreciate the vision that I do have. And you were correct about not being able to see floaters when your eyes are dilated. I must say that it was the most relaxing 4 hours I've had in the last six months! Anyway, the doctor examined my eyes with lenses addend the brightest lights ever. He said my retinas looked great and everything was perfectly healthy. As far as my floaters, he said they could be the start of a pvd but very early stage. He told me to never give up hope because they are actively researching for treatment of this condition, so that's a positive. I do feel better knowing my eyes at healthy but it doesn't change the fact that these floaters drive me crazy. I'm really glad I found this forum and can't talk to other people about this condition, its nice to have a support group of people who completely understand what its like.
