Hey Samual, do you have a source for this?
I thought that a PVD is a slow process and that you notice lots of debris und stuff in your eye while this is happening.

Also you see lights flashing for many days/weeks, because the vitreous is pulling on the retina...

But it is the only logical explanation for donrasch..
The floaters just increase their distance to the retina...
