Kirill, it is true that doctors do not report problems such as frill and debris, and I definitely want to avoid such issues myself. But I do not agree with your statement that these issues are way more important than major complications. Frill seems to be frustrating, but I would rather have that than suffer from blind spots, retinal detachment or endophthalmitis. I think the risk of major complications is what really makes people hesitant to have a vitrectomy. And if you have frill or debris, it may be possible to resolve the problem by having another vitrectomy.
