Kirill, if its solid flakes, its Kenalog. If its a perfect circle with a dot in the middle (may not always see the dot depending on how far its from your retina) its a red blood cell. If its a rough-edge (not smooth) circle with nothing in the middle, its a white blood cell. For me, even 2 years post-op I still had red and white cells. Although much less than right after the operation, but, still there even all this time nonetheless. I'm not expecting it'll ever completely go away.

Flashes are from your peripheral vitreous flap tugging your retina as the vitreous flaps around as your aqueous humor passes over it (like a flag in the wind). It'll get better as it peels away, but, it never completely went away for me until my surgeon removed it.

Of course there are people on here that state that both of these clear completely over time. I hope that's right for me and you.
