Kirill,

1) Yes, I've never not had these dots (Kenalog/cells) after an FOV. My surgeon made an effort to clear the dots but they just came back (which I expected).

2) I thought that too but it didn't happen. My surgeon wasn't concerned. He told me that if a detachment didn't happen within 3 months post-op than the chances were slim that it would happen.

3) Yes, my surgeon said it's more safe as far as the chance of detachments/tears in the back of the eye. Infection is still a possibility of course. Chances are higher that you'll get hypotony (which happened to me every time). My eye got down so low in pressure that the measuring instrument couldn't read it correctly. But, again my surgeon wasn't concerned. He said it would come back in a few days and has never had (or of heard) of a case where there was any permanent complications due to hypotony. In all my cases, he was right.
