Sorry, this is my first time back to the board in a few days. I'm actually not doing great...I had the bubble injected, the tear is apparently better and the bubble is gradually getting smaller. But I have a huge gray patch on the left side, infringing about halfway into my central vision. It seemed to be getting better, but has recently gotten much worse. The doctor has no idea what's going on, because he can't see anything through slit lamp, ultrasound or OCT.

For awhile I only had a scotoma while my eye was dilated, especially after my eye had been closed for awhile. Now it's always there...I can see some light through it, and some vague shapes when I look through a bright window, but no color. I really don't know what to do at this point...The dr. said he thinks it might be a circulation issue, something associated with the post-surgery choroidal detachment I had due to hypotony, but he'd expected it to improve and it isn't improving at all. The patch is bigger now even than it was in the first week, so I'm terrified I'll lose the vision in this eye completely.
