not sure how to upload a drawing to this site, but basically I just have arc shaped lines at the top, right, and bottom of my vision. They whip and wave into visibility when I move my eyes. The lines on the right are the most mobile and bothersome. Those on the top are the next most visible, and those on the bottom I rarely ever see.

As I understand it, the core vitrectomy just hollows out the vitreous, so what I'm seeing has the vague appearance of a wiggly tunnel. Right after the surgery, I could see the vitreous at the top of my vision, but there was blood stuck in it so it was very dark. Over time, the blood dissipated, and so the arcs were less visible and hardly bothersome. A few weeks after that, the lines appeared on the right and bottom. They seem to have stabilized now (no longer getting worse), but my vision is back to almost as bad as before the surgery. Can anyone give some hope?
