Its very unproductive to measure your floaters all the time, especially when they are mostly roughly the same amount in the end of the day (with some moving out of the vision, and new ones forming very very slowly unless you get hit in the face by a hammer or something)
and you basically end up running around them, Its best to just learn find darker places to work from, and learn to concentrate better.

you could have flashers for years and no effect from them, I had flashers right in the center of my vision, one even a huge one from olympic lifting, but it didn't seem to make anything worse.
