Fenway - look at my previous posts - I had first FOV at 26 in London - developed cataract after a 2nd FOV in same eye after 6 months!

Whilst this eye is now ok - I do get a small whirlpool effect in corner of vision from scarring after retinal detachment and laser surgery! However, nowehere near as baqd as floaters so 85% better.

Had left eye done last year aged 34 - no cataract yet - only peripheral shimmering - again a nuisance but nowhere near as bad as previous. Please remember I am living proof - all FOVs carry risks - the material left behind being a big risk that many surgeons will not tell you about. However would you like all of your central sight ruined with floaters or only periphary - in my case the latter - easier to live with!!
