hans,

I know...it sounds like...you are having a very difficult time these days.

You have been brave all along, have gone for FOVs when many of us won't. And, generally, your experience has been pretty good. Other than the "tadpole", your vision has improved after the first FOV...less floaters, good vision...and a damn tadpole left over.

Now you have your other FOV, and annoying stitches. (Have they come out yet?) Experience has taught you it takes some time to "heal".

I feel pretty confident your new FOV will be fine in a short period of time, and again, your surgeon is not worried. Probably as that eye settles and adjusts, with your two eyes working together, mostly floater free...you will see that tadpole less and less. You might even begin not to notice is as the rest of your vision will be so much clearer.

I know it's hard to feel comfortable, but I think you have to just give it a little more time.

Best wishes.

G.
