Keep us informed Kalachakra! I went back to my Opthamologist who said my eyes are healthy and whilst he can see vitreous debris he doesn't think my floaters are bad enough for further action. It was the usual 5 min total consultation time, 10 seconds to put the eyedrops in and after a 20 min wait 4 mins 50 seconds to tell me to live with it. He might have a point- my floaters might not be bad enough to risk cataracts etc but any black lumps i can see in dim light seem serious enough to me. I got the feeling he was just thinking about whether to go for the BMW 7-series or the new Mercedes as people were getting rushed through his examinations at an alarming rate.

I would like to give this a year ( I am starting to see some improvement from some liver cleansing medicine my naturopath has had me take over the last month which I will talk about in the Alternative treatment section), but would still value the opinion of Dr Chang. At least he could candidly weigh up my options of risk versus magnitute of the floater problem. Only he can be entirely subjective as an Opthamologist who does not perform FOV will always steer away from it.
