yesterday i went to a new dr. because the changes in my peripheral vision was getting me very alarmed. i told him all the story so he decided to look throught my eyes with the goldman's three mirror lens to observe the periphery of the retina since he thought it could be some sort of problem in the retina.fortunately he couldn't find any lesion on the retina and he said both retina were healthy the thing that is causing different effects like shadows and dark areas in my peripheral visual field is the vitreous since i don't have already a complete pvd only some regions where the vitreous stills attached causing some traction but the retina stills in it's correct place:D so those regions are the ones that i see dark areas
i also said my vitreous is degenerating in sort of flakes???!!!?, he doesn't know what may cause this vitreous syneresis since i don't have myopic eyes but he said he cannot see any sine of inflammation or infection or whatever:hat
i talked to him about vitrectomy and he said that no one would do me vitrectomy for this that i have and to not let anyone do me a fov because it's a very complicated surgery, and has a lot of second effects ... the old same story... but i've made a decision i'll do a fov in both eyes, because i want to regain my vision again.
i would love to ear something from you guys...
