While it pains me to say this, I would sat it is a waste of time and money. I had what was supposed to be the textbook case. I went through 6 treatments with zero improvement. I'm sure if I went to one of the other doctors in the US, they would have done damage to me. However, I don't blame and fully understand why someone would give it a try. I have no regrets. Good luck in whatever you decide.

He gave it his best and I resoect the heck out of the guy. I'm sure he has helped a lot of people but you really have to have whatever exact specific situation and a good bit of luck. Again, I have no regrets.

I was treated by Larry Benjamin and I can assure people that
he didn't 'play pool' with my floaters - he definitely zapped them. He was very
accurate as well - more than three-quarters of the laser shots resulted in the
tell-tale black bubble that shows a floater has been vaporised.
He did make it clear to me, though, that he stays well clear
of the retina. That was unfortunate for me, because the only really intrusive
floater had a sharp outline, meaning it was very close to the retina, so he
didn't touch that one.
But his treatment might work for others, and I found him to
be a very caring person.
