Went to my GP the other day. Told him that the floaters were driving me nuts and making me depressed. Told him that I didn't want to read the computer screen or go outside on a bright day. Told him that it was impacting my everyday activities.
He told me I was depressed and that everyone has floaters and that it really doesn't bother most people and that I should get used to it and carry on taking strong anti depressents and see a psychiatrist again.
The psychiatrist told me I was depressed and that I must have issues from my childhood and started asking me weird questions.
I'm pretty sure I'm not mad but apparently they used to put people in the loony bin who saw flying things in their eyes.
I'm utterly dissapointed by the level of healthcare I received and there is f*&k all I can do about it.
Its almost like they think it's a mental issue. Do you think it is???
Jenks.
