Hey, I am starting this thread to see if anyone knows if a FOV can help someone with floaters that are th crystal worm type. I am 32 years old and I got them about 1.75 years ago and I am almost certain that they are crystal worms. I've had 2 opthalmalogists look for them and they cant see them. They disappear when my eyes were dialated and it was like heaven. If I squint they get darker and I can see a whole cob-like network that has gotten worse over the past almpst 2 years. The right eye is the worst one but they are both bad,. When I look in any direction the floaters come catching up about a half second later. So if I look left for example here come the floaters from right to left catching up after I turn my head....
SOOOO I dont think I can live the rest of my life like this but I am not even sure a FOV can help if these guys are in the "pre macular bursa". Would PVD have to be initiated? Can a FOV even help crystal worms?? When I REALLY squint I see the entire network of collagen fibers etc and it is quite bad........
