Hello,
I have noticed here lately that a lot of the forum members have taken the leap and had FOV's performed on their eye/eyes. I was just wanting to know the ages and success rates or complications to your recent experiences. My left eye doesn't have many floaters, my right eye is the problem. If I did end up getting to procedure I would only do that eye. If the operation was a success in the problem eye I really don't think I would even notice the left eye floaters anymore because the right eye is the one with the problem floater I can see in all lighting.
Just curious as to the age of members who only had the procedure on their eyes and the final outcome of the procedure. The problem with the dense floaters is recent, only 3 months, and I am trying to weigh the pros and cons to getting surgery since I am 27. I think I should wait at least a year from now to see if there are any changes to the floaters. I just noticed that 3 months ago the floaters seemed to get closer to my retina because their sizes increased massively and this dark, dot floater gets bigger week by week, and may move out of the line of sight because the floaters are definitely still on a moving pattern. That would truly be a blessing and it is possible. I know sometimes they don't move, but since they are moving in the vitreous, they will hopefully move to another spot in the next year.
Best of luck to everyone, including myself, that a safe cure is found for these debilitating fellers.
