Okay so I've had floaters for a year now, and they're gradually coming on getting worse and worse, I've been to the ophthalmologist who looked into my eyes to check for retinal tears and detachment and he says it looks fine.
But I didn't ask him about this, but during the day mostly I'll look up at the sky and see these sparkles in the center of my vision. They are not the little white dots that zip around in your vision like a thousand little white flys, these look like sparkles that are rapidly flickering, and are worse if I close my eyes for a few seconds than open them, or when I look somewhere to the side then quickly somewhere else. I have no idea what these are, I thought at first they were my floaters creating an illusion where it looks like sparkling white dots but are just my floaters overlapping creating a weird grill that causes white sparkles.
I also notice that if I blink rapidly the centre of my vision gets a dark sort of spot over it, but I think that might be normal
