I had a followup appointment today, and my doc saw fluid at the top (under my retina?) and thinks I have a small retinal tear. He injected a gas bubble today, and will do laser tomorrow to keep the tear from getting worse.
I was doing a little googling and found that having multiple small bubbles ("fish eggs") can lead to air getting trapped behind the retina. He didn't say anything after looking into my eye post-injection, but I do have multiple small circles at the bottom of my vision. Is this normal or should he have done something about it? Also, my vision is extremely washed out now, an hour after the injection, I can hardly see anything. After reading Zel's experience I'm terrified. Is this also normal???
