I've been lurking on this board for a few months and finally decided to make an account. I am a 22 year old female who had perfect clear vision my whole life up until I turned 19. I noticed my vision was getting blurrier, and I started seeing a small very translucent floater in my left eye. I could only see this in the right lighting conditions (a bright sunny day outside) and didn't think much of it. My condition seems to have worsened every year since then, but was always tolerable up until a few months ago. I was about 20 weeks pregnant with my second child when I noticed that the inside of my left eye looks like it exploded. My best comparison would be to a fish bowl with very mobile gray algae chunks floating around in it. I can see this in almost all lighting conditions unless I am at home with the blinds closed. Sometimes if I'm in dark lighting they appear as clear blobs are are all over my field of vision. I've also been bombarded with lines in both eyes (while very annoying, these aren't as bothersome as the gray crap.) I do not have the black floaters many here are describing which makes me wonder if mine are actually far from the retina. I am gettin desperate for help. I am a young mom of a 2 year old and soon to be newborn, I need to be able to function as a normal human being. I don't understand why this randomly happened to me at such a young age, I am not myopic, have had no trauma, I don't see any reason I would have this issue... And of course all the doctors I have seen have been useless.
