Details: One of our members, meeting with OCV (http://www.oneclearvision.org/) again to discuss if it worth to restart the charity activities. I am not representing OCV at this moment, I just a regular eye floater sufferer trying to organize people to convince OCV to be reactive. Only a few people have come forward to volunteer resend out letters to research centers. Therefore, there is scope for funding and research in this area in the UK. It would be more professional to send out letters via an OCV email address. So please let me know if you would like to help out so that an email address can be created for you. Those you are interested in volunteering for OCV: please send me a separate PM with your email (or Email me:firstname.lastname@example.org, or email@example.com; or PM me in Facebook https://www.facebook.com/youlixin if you are interested in being active in Facebook, there are Hugh number of sufferers where everyone is very active: https://www.facebook.com/groups/539595036239577/ and https://www.facebook.com/groups/134758916964603/) so that I can liaise between you and OCV trustees for your background checks and email accounts. This is a registered charity (not a foundation) and is registered with RNIB in the UK as well. This can only be done by volunteers after OCV has completed background checks on the person and is happy to work with them - We are mainly interested in volunteers who like to work as part of a team and get on with working for this cause (not causing friction among sufferers and not damaging the reputation of the charity with inappropriate behaviors) .Due to lack of resources they were inactive, so it is important that the charity is reactivated with volunteers who will dedicate a few hours a month to work for this cause. Requesting funds and sending out letters via an OCV email address and OCV heading will look a lot better. I am trying my best to contribute to medical research and not immediately go for a vitrectomy. Can you please take the time to think about whether you would like to contribute to this charity and help either raise funds, raise awareness or send out letters. Only we can achieve something if we work on this together as a community. I look forward to more volunteers coming forward.
